Two Shin chan adventures are coming to Switch 2 on March 4, 2027
October 14, 2026
Neos has set a worldwide date for both games, confirmed a single-card physical Double Pack, and listed several Switch 2 upgrades. The western package is listed at US$59.99, but a Canadian CAD price has not been announced.

Two existing adventures get Switch 2 versions
Neos says Shin chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation – The Endless Seven-Day Journey and Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 4, 2027. The publisher describes the release as worldwide. Both games already have Nintendo Switch versions; the Switch 2 releases are new editions rather than newly announced stories or sequels. The date gives fans a clear point to plan around, but Canadian preorder timing and prices are not yet listed on the Nintendo Canada pages reviewed. Neos says package specifications and bonuses vary by region, so the Japanese package details should not be assumed to apply in Canada.
One physical card will hold both games
Neos says a physical 2-in-1 pack will include both adventures on one game card. Clear River Games is handling the western physical release, which Neos lists for Europe and the Americas at US$59.99 or €49.99. These are regional prices, not a Canadian price; the company has not supplied a CAD amount or identified Canadian retailers.
In the west, the package is described with a booklet and reversible cover. Neos cautions that regional package contents vary, so Canadian buyers should check the final local listing rather than assume the western configuration is identical everywhere. Neos announcement · Gematsu
Neos also says existing digital owners will be able to buy the Switch 2 versions at a special price. The announcement does not specify the discount amount, Canadian eligibility terms, or how the upgrade purchase will be presented in the eShop. Until those details appear, owners should treat the discount as confirmed in principle but not yet priced.
What changes on Switch 2
Neos lists mouse support, 60-frames-per-second performance, higher resolution, an updated control guide, and the ability to save anywhere among the Switch 2 additions. Players can select text and audio languages. These are publisher-stated features; there is not yet a detailed technical breakdown or a comparison of exact resolution targets.

For players who already own the Switch editions, the most practical changes are the ability to save at any point and mouse support, alongside the resolution and frame-rate upgrades. Neos also plans a special-price upgrade for people who own the digital Switch versions, but has not announced the amount or purchase process. Whether the upgrades make a meaningful difference will be easier to judge once the new versions are available; the announcement does not describe additional story content.
What Canadian players should watch for
Nintendo Canada currently lists the two original Switch games, but the store pages reviewed do not yet show Switch 2 versions, Canadian prices, or local preorders. Neos's worldwide release date is useful confirmation, but it does not replace a Canadian listing with a CAD price and region-specific package details.
The useful comparison for Canadian owners will be the local digital upgrade price versus the physical Double Pack. Neos has announced US$59.99 for the Americas physical release, but that is not a Canadian price, and no CAD amount is available yet. Avoid converting the U.S. amount or substituting the Japanese price for a local listing. Nintendo Life · Noisy Pixel
